About Zen In Everyday Life
Zen in Everyday Life was created by John Keenan as a passion to help share the resources and knowledge that helped during my own journey.
Mental health impacts all of us differently, but many of the stress factors in life come from an unbalanced lifestyle.
Only what has worked best for us and the lessons we learned both from our own experience and from listening to lectures by Philosophers, Doctors, Clergy, and other academics.
My hope is that you can learn from these posts so you can find your own peace while making fewer mistakes then those of us who have walked the path before you.
Below is a list of the types of content you can find on this website. But an even better place to start is our blog post: What is Zen?
Another highly recommended source for learning more about is the philosopher Alan Watts. Specifically the YouTube Channel “T&H – Inspiration & Motivation” Does a great job of pairing music, visuals and the original speeches into a short form video. The following YouTube video of Alan Watts giving a talk about what Zen is a fantastic primer on what Zen truly is about: Alan Watts For When You Need Inner Peace
